The background of this painting was done quite awhile ago and
I was wondering from time to time what to do with it. I took several
photos of my (model) daughter Sarah and this image seemed to fit
into the space rather nicely I think. Of course it doesn't look like Sarah,
but actually that's the point. I want my figures to be anyone and
leave it up to you to create the person.

Child's Play Figurative Paintings by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse "Child's Play" measures 20" x 24" and is painted in oil on canvas. With the prospect of going to Florida this July and intending to paint as much as possible, I seem to be drawn to ocean scenes and figures on the beach. This is an image I painted a few years ago that I've revisited with - I hope - better skills. $599

The Green Chair IV - by Arizona Artist, Sharon Sieben

The next "Green Chair Series" piece is a watercolor painting on 20" x 16" Ampersand Aquabord. It is almost like using a totally different medium, but I enjoyed working with it. One of the interesting aspects that I like is that you can spray the finished work with a UV protective coating and there is no need to frame the art under glass.
