Follow Me

These sisters caught my eye wading out into a lake on a hot sunny day, their lovely long hair shining in the sunlight.

Girl with the Red Necklace

I loved the challenge of painting a figure using only black and white paint, with the addition of a splash of another colour to bring it alive.

I have three daughters and I use them all the time as my subjects to paint.  I actually had them 'dress up' for this beach painting!

This painting was done on site at an art show at Black Swan Studio in Houston.  I've done this several times and although I thought it would be a little inhibiting, it was just the opposite.  It was so fun to talk with everyone and explain what I was doing and how it was developing.  It sold to one in the audience.  What a deal!

Mark your calelndars for a solo show of my art at Kirchman Gallery in Johnson City, Texas on March 26, 4:00 - 8:00
