Doing these 20 min. poses are a great way to capture quick gestures and put colors down quickly. The lighting in the studio was dull yesterday (when I painted this) and I found the colors to be muted and grayer than usual. Maybe the thicker paint is a result of my inner frustration or lack of satisfaction to the lighting?
